Dr. Lee graduated with honors from the University of California, San Diego in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry & Cell Biology.  He then attended the UCLA School of Dentistry where he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 1996.

 

Dr. Lee spent three additional years at the University of Illinois at Chicago completing his specialty training in orthodontics.  This specialty training focused heavily on craniofacial growth and development as well as all aspects of orthodontic theory and practice.  During his residency at this nationally renowned orthodontic program,  Dr. Lee mentored under the founders of modern-day orthodontics.  He continues to maintain close associations with colleagues who are in the forefront of advanced orthodontic research and development.  He is a published researcher, as well as a recipient of awards for his research on orthodontic tooth movement.

Dr. Lee and his wife Audrey live with their two children and shih-tzu in Orange County.  They enjoy spending time together playing basketball, tennis and Lego.  Dr. Lee enjoys photography, tools and gadgets, and a good Lakers game.
